It ties into the vacuum solenoid mounted in the trunk area to open and close the factory valve on command.

The install is plug-and-play with no cutting, splicing, or permanent changes to the car, and the connection is fully reversible, so you can return to a completely stock setup at any time.

Important Compatibility Information

This controller only works with BMWs that use a VACUUM-style exhaust valve. It will not function on electronic exhaust valve systems. Many BMWs share this factory vacuum flap across the 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 Series and X/Z models of the mid-2000s through mid-2010s, but confirm your car has the vacuum-actuated control unit before ordering.

Features

Connects directly into the factory wiring harness for a plug-and-play install

Ties into the factory vacuum solenoid to give on-demand control of the exhaust flap

100% reversible; return to a fully stock exhaust valve setup at any time

Works only with vacuum-actuated exhaust valve systems, not electronic valves

What's Included

Exhaust valve controller unit

Installation Notes

The controller connects near the factory vacuum solenoid in the trunk area and typically installs in well under an hour with basic hand tools.

Product Specifications

SKU: V044

MPN: BMW.EVFC

Fits BMWs equipped with a factory vacuum-actuated exhaust valve

Need a Different Vehicle?

Audi/Lamborghini V8/V10 Exhaust Valve Controller

Porsche Exhaust Valve Controller

Ferrari Exhaust Valve Controller

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work on my BMW's electronic exhaust valve?
No. This controller is built exclusively for vacuum-actuated exhaust valves and will not function on electronic valve systems.

Is the installation permanent?
No. The controller is fully reversible, so you can disconnect it and return the car to a completely stock exhaust valve setup at any time.

Do I need to modify my exhaust to use this?
No modification is required.
