With this MK1's early westy front end, subtly obscure ronal wheels and more desirable factory color, this little VW has has just what it takes to be "clapped out". Alex has put together a fun little driver with plenty of character and soul. Here's what he has to say about it:

I have owned this MK1 for about a year now but I dailyed a beetle and my other MK1 for two years prior How many miles are on it? Well the odometer says 5900 so lets just go with that... What one thing gives your car the most character? I am torn between the rust and the exhaust note What BFI parts have you purchased to keep your car running? I would put the two sets of tires I have purchased through you guys would be I this category, and 020 Flywheel and Clutch Kit What BFI parts have you purchased and installed to make your car better? I have the Tie Rod Flip Kit and the mk1 front crossmember brace. What are your future plans? Possibly air ride, but for sure keeping it alive and continue putting many miles on it. What’s your opinion on Aliens? It would be crazy to think we are alone...Right? Favorite childhood toy? My 1963 4-door Chevrolet Nova Hot Wheel, without a doubt. What kind of shoes are you wearing right now? Black and white Vans
