Warehouse Associate - Full Time 

Black Forest Industries is seeking an automotive enthusiast that ideally is already familiar with aftermarket and replacement parts for European vehicles to help out in our warehouse fulfilling both retail, as well as wholesale orders. We are open to less experienced or less knowlegeable candidates provided they are eager and interested to learn about the products that we sell. 

Daily Responsibilites:

  • Import, compile and organize all incoming retail and wholesale orders 
  • Identify and pick all corresponding parts for each specific order from shelves 
  • Professionally and efficiently box and label all orders for outbound shipping with high accuracy 
  • Maintain levels of stock of critical packing material, including proprietary boxes and other specialized inventory 
  • Assemble, label, and shelve inventory for stock 
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace 

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail, Type A personality preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Punctual with reliable transportation
  • Able to proficiently multi-task

Machine Operator - Full Time

We are looking for someone to work full time as a machine operator on a vertical CNC mill. Experience a plus, but not required. Hours will start 9-6 and shift later into the evening as training progresses. This is your chance to receive on the job training as a mill operator and perhaps programmer.

Daily Responsibilites:

  • Load and cut raw material on CNC bandsaw
  • Set up and complete production runs based on PO on vertical mill
  • Pack completed parts to be sent for finishing
  • Assemble finished parts for stock
  • Maintain tidy workspace, organize and recycle machine waste

Skills and Attributes

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Familiarity with large automated machinery / CNC machinery
  • Strong work ethic
  • Punctual with reliable transportation

Automotive Technician - Full Time

We are experiencing a large volume of service and performance customers here and are in need of a qualified technician to join our service staff. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 2 years direct experience with VW/Audi vehicles -- certifications preferred. Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record. Flat rate pay with very competitive rates based on experience and performance. 

Daily Responsibilities

  • Examines customer vehicles and identifies necessary vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Diagnoses and repairs to specifications -- brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems
  • Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-needed basis
  • Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
  • Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
  • Maintains an organized and neat bay
  • Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
