Upcoming: Waterfest 19
Once again we're making the pilgrimage to Englishtown, NJ to the 19th annual Waterfest VW / Audi car show. This enormous event takes place over the course of two days, with tons of motorsport activities on site including autocross, drag racing, and dyno pulls. In addition to the mayhem, tons of product vendors will be on site, including us up front and center directly across from APR at the main entrance.
This year we will again be sharing booth space with C2 Motorsports who will be doing on site ECU upgrades on most late model cars. They will also have a selection of their hard goods on hand for you to come scrutinize. If you do want to get your vehicle chipped we suggest contacting C2 early to make an appointment as spots are filling up quickly.
NEW AND EXCITING STUFF TO COME SEE AT THE BOOTH
New BFI Billet Shift Knobs Not only does our new billet, heavyweight shift knob look great inside your car, but it also adds a bit of function and performance as well. With its solid construction and added heft, shifting becomes smoother and faster. Utilizing a modular threaded insert design this shift knob is compatible with nearly any application.
Weighing in at approximately 250 grams the added inertial mass makes shifting effort substantially less while speeding up the process at the same time.
We will also be there with our MK3 project:
Stage 1- basic drop in kit utilizing the K03 turbo aimed at the most affordable entry level kit that still gets you all of the specialty pieces necessary to make the swap painless. Included in the kit will be C2 Motorsports’ custom software for the 1.8T that drops right in your ABA OBD-2(only for now)ECU. Also included, BFI custom machined and modified distributor designed to make this a simple and direct bolt up. Additional custom hardware items: ignition plug wires, charge plumbing, and downpipe. Our goal is to keep cost down without sacrificing any convenience or functionality. Stage 1 will still utilize the 020 transmission and push the limits of that gearbox as well as our 020 Clutch Kits with Ultra-Lightweight Flywheel Additionally while the motor is out we will rebuild the bottom end and upgrade the connecting rods in anticipation for higher boost levels.
Finally we will have on display and for sale our newest addition to the JOM Coilover Suspension line. We have developed a kit with the help of JOM that fits all MK6 Jettas without the independent rear suspensions, meaning all but the GLI (we have kits for those too). These kits offer the same combination of value and ride comfort while allowing you to get your Jetta low. This will be the first time we have had these on sale and we are very excited about this highly anticipated product. Be the first on your block with this hot new seller.
