The G87 M2 leaves the factory with serious S58 muscle and almost none of the soundtrack to match. This Valvetronic Designs valved axle back replaces the muted factory rear section with a Grade 5 titanium exhaust built around electronic valves, giving the twin-turbo inline six a proper voice while keeping volume fully under your control.

With the valves open, the car takes on a sharper, more aggressive tone that builds all the way to redline. Close them and it settles back to a refined, near-stock volume for early starts and long highway stretches. Because it bolts to the OEM mounting points and leaves the rest of the exhaust untouched, this is a fully reversible upgrade that does not commit you to a complete system.

Sound and Valve Control

The axle back integrates electronic exhaust valves and ships with a valve controller kit, so switching between loud and civil takes seconds. Valves open, the S58 gains genuine presence at the top of the rev range and character on the overrun. Valves closed, volume drops to a level comfortable for daily commuting. Optional OEM valve integration is also available.
