The factory intercooler on your N54 or N55 135i or 335i is sized for stock boost, and it heat-soaks fast once you start pushing more air through it. VRSF's 7.5" Stepped Race Intercooler replaces it with an ultra-high-density, 1100hp-rated bar-and-plate core built specifically for cars running larger twin- or single-turbo setups, keeping intake temps down to reduce heat soak, power loss, and the risk of pre-detonation.
This core has been part of record-setting N54 builds, including Motiv's world-record 1100whp N54, and is the first intercooler VRSF has officially rated to support 1000whp.
