VRSF Catted Downpipe F22 · F23 · F87 · F30 · F32 · F33 · F36 N55
The VRSF catted downpipe replaces the factory catalytic converter on your N55-powered BMW with a high-flow 200-cell race cat, cutting the back pressure that holds back turbo spool and power. It bolts on to 335i, 435i, M235i, and M2 models running the N55 inline-six.
Hand-crafted from mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel with CNC-machined billet 304 stainless flanges, the downpipe keeps a working catalytic converter in place, so it retains a factory-style exhaust profile while opening up flow.
Important Compatibility Information
- This downpipe ships in two diameters, split by production date. M135i and 335i models built up to 07/13 use the 3.5" version; M135i and 335i models built after 08/13, along with all M235i, 435i, and M2 models, use the 4" version.
- Contact your BMP Tuning rep with your VIN if you're not sure which production run your car falls into before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this downpipe include a catalytic converter?
Yes, it uses a 200-cell high-flow race cat rather than deleting the catalytic converter entirely.
How do I know which diameter my car needs?
M135i and 335i models built before July 2013 use the 3.5" version; everything built after that, plus all M235i, 435i, and M2 models, use the 4" version. Check your build date or reach out with your VIN if you're unsure.
Do I need a tune to see gains?
A supporting tune is recommended to unlock the downpipe's full potential; per VRSF, tuned gains run in the 20 to 25 horsepower range.
Will this fit right-hand-drive vehicles?
VRSF does not publish a right-hand-drive fitment note for this specific downpipe, unlike its B58 downpipes. Confirm with your BMP Tuning rep before ordering an RHD vehicle.
